Play Bark

Is a mixed conifer bark, mainly of pine which is a reddish brown colour, with all the dust and fines remove.

Playground bark is a loose fill impact absorbing material.

When installing bark, account should be taken of settlement and allowance made of at least 10% of the installed volume to settle.

Barks pits will require topping up each year, and the bark should be regularly checked to ensure the bark is still around the play equipment and has not moved to the outer edges, should this have occurred then the bark pit will require raking to return the bark to its correct location around the play equipment.

Rubber Loose Fill

Fill is shredded solid rubber, not chunks, available in various colours :- redwood, earthtone, blue/grey, dark green.
